Meet Dr. Claire Backofen

Dr. Claire Backofen is a Bossier City native and graduate of Airline High School. After completing her undergraduate studies from the University of Louisiana Monroe with Summa Cum Laude honors, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-School of Dental Medicine in 2024.

Dr. Claire is not a stranger to Pediatric Dental Partners (PDP), as she was a patient of PDP and worked over the years in several different areas of the practice from the front office to the back clinical side. She is excited to return to PDP to continue as a dentist providing excellent dental care alongside her mother-in-law, Dr. Shannon Backofen, Dr. Daniel Crawford, Dr. Lauren Wallace, Dr. Susan Chidlow, and the talented team at PDP.

Dr. Claire is married to Kyle Backofen of Bossier City, and they have a baby girl, Collette, and two French Bulldogs whom they love to spoil. Aside from dentistry, her passions are spending time outdoors, interior design, and traveling with her family.
